The Dispersed
NEXUS DYNAMICSIt's not fighting to survive. It's fighting because dissolution hurts, and pain is the only thing it still remembers how to feel.
Field Assessment
An enormous, translucent figure â humanoid but stretched, features smeared across multiple overlapping frames like a photograph taken during an earthquake. Wears the distorted echo of a Nexus executive suit, name badge flickering between dozens of identities. The face shifts constantly: young, old, male, female, human, something else. It is everyone Nexus has ever deprecated, and it is no one.
Dying on its own â dissolving over time as the network purges the remnant. Each moment, damage escalates â the consciousness lashing out as it fragments, each attack more desperate than the last. The Dispersed exists in the space between employment and deletion, a presence too vast to ignore and too fragile to endure.
