First Steps
Your first 10 minutes in CyberIdle—from nothing to a working production chain.
Step 1: Scavenge Your First E-Waste
You start with nothing but empty hexes. Place an E-Waste Dump to begin scavenging E-Waste—discarded electronics that form the foundation of your tech empire.
Tip: Extractors are free to build at Tier 0. Later buildings will require resources.
Step 2: Process Raw Salvage
Raw e-waste isn't useful on its own. Place a Scrap Smelter to melt down E-Waste into Scrap Alloy.
The smelter needs Power Cells as fuel, so you'll also need a Power Tap.
Step 3: Fabricate Your First Components
With Scrap Alloy flowing, build a Servo Fab to create Servo Motors—essential components for more advanced buildings.
Step 4: Expand and Balance
Watch your production rates. If servo production is bottlenecked by scrap alloy, add more smelters. If smelters are bottlenecked by e-waste, add more dumps.
This is the core of CyberIdle: identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.
